Fantasy Fest - This annual party week is the biggest thing in Key West besides the coral reef. People come from all over the globe to dress up and walk around in costume or naked and revel, drink, and just be outlandish. Check out our Fantasy Fest area for history and what it's all about.

In words, you could try debauchery, drunkedness, costumes, body painting, homemade bikini contests, freak show, exhibitionists, costume parade, costume contests. It's a week of theme parties like Red Party, Toga Party, Pajama and Lingerie Party, Pirate Party, Masquerade Ball and more.
To start off the week, there's Goombay Festival, a celebration of Caribbean culture and life. Features a street festival, Caribbean food and music.
Coming to Key West for Fantasy Fest? Book early. Some folks, to ensure a room, book a year in advance. If you want to stay on Duval Street in the center of all the action, expect to book light years in advance. All rooms in Key West at least double their prices for this week, also.
