		<description>My father in law was on that ship when he was going to and from the South Pacific. Angelo Petillo was a US Marine,and  when he was on it, it was the USS General Harry Taylor. Quite a history for this ship.  Time for the old ship to rest.....R.I.P</description>

		<description>Had the fortune to take pictures of her while she was tied up at the Navy Pier in 2009. Watched the sinking on TV. This year (2010) got my PADI &quot;Wreck Diving&quot; ticket punched diving on her. I recently watched the movie &quot;Virus&quot; and all I could think of was &quot;been there, done that&quot;. The Vandenberg has a special meaning to me now, especially when  considering I lived at Vandenberg AFB as a child when It was known as Camp Cook, US Army Training Center.</description>
