Angelo Petillo was a US Marine,and when he was on it, it was the USS General Harry Taylor. Quite a history for this ship. Watched the sinking on TV. This year (2010) got my PADI "Wreck Diving" ticket punched diving on her. I recently watched the movie "Virus" and all I could think of was "been there, done that". The Vandenberg has a special meaning to me now, especially when considering I lived at Vandenberg AFB as a child when It was known as Camp Cook, US Army Training Center.
